Visas

The following countries are exempt from visas for short stays (-90 days) :

- Citizens from "Schengen convention" countries;
- "European Economic Area" (EEA) citizens, Switzerland, Monaco and Andorra;
- Citizens of the following countries : Andorra, Argentina, Australia, Bermuda, Brazil, Brunei, Canada, Chile, South Korea, Costa Rica, Croatia, El Salvador, United States, Guatemala, Honduras, Israel, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, Monaco, Nicaragua, New Zealand, Panama, Paraguay, Saint-Marin, Saint-Siège, Singapore, Uruguay, Venezuela;
- Hong Kong special administrative region passport holders (People's Republic of China) and Macao special administrative region passport holders (People's Republic of China);
- Valid French resident permit holders;
- Valid Schengen convention member country resident permit holders;
- Valid Schengen convention member country travel permit holders.

For the other, Visa is necessary :

All other National Associations must obtain visas to enter French territory: Armenia, Belarus, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Georgia, Ghana, Grenade, Iran, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Macedonia, Mongolia, Montenegro, Russia, Serbia, South Africa, Turkey, Ukraine, Uzbekistan (non exhaustive list).
