Water - Energy - Waste
The World Championships Organizing Committee will attract great numbers of spectators during the competition fortnight, doubling the current numbers of visitors to the resort. It is therefore essential that the subsequent modification to environmental requirements such as water, energy and waste, should be anticipated. The capacity of the local waterworks for drinking and waster water is already sufficient to cope with the increased demand. Concerning electricty, a study is already underway in order to find a solution to limit the use of generators that consume large quantities of fuel. Waste management must also be adapted for the event.
