Val d'Isère possesses 2 water catchments situated in the mountains; these provide a quality energy resource due to the fact that they are located in natural protected areas.
The local authority may dispose of up to 10500m3 of water per day. The current human consumption is approximately 6000m3 of water per day in high season.
Despite the increased number of users during the FIS World Championships, everybody will be able to enjoy an abundance of alpine fresh water.
