Rules
A reminder of a selection of the FIS World Championships rules:
- - The competition is organized every odd-numbered year and should take place during the first fortnight of February in order to benefit from optimum snow conditions.
- - An event must be cancelled if it cannot be run before the closing ceremony.
- - Competitors must hold the nationality of the country they are representing as well as a current race licence issued by their national federation. Each country may enter 24 racers with a maximum of 14 per sex.
- - A maximum of 4 racers per country may compete in each event.
- - Reigning champions are officially invited to participate and are not taken into account in the above-mentioned quotas.
- - The World Cup Skiing rules and regulations apply.
- - At least 8 different nations must participate in the competitions for them to be officially recognised.
