Race Calendar
The 11 events of the FIS World Alpine Skiing Championships will take place during the first fortnight of February 2009. The race calendar will include a men's and a women's Downhill, each preceded by at least two training runs, a men's and a women's Super G, a men's and a women's Giant Slalom, a men's and a women's Slalom, a men's and a women's Super Combined and the Nations Cup race.
The event will begin with an opening ceremony and end with a closing ceremony. A formal prize giving for each event will take place on the evening of the race.
