Rules

The Accreditation System allows all groups involved in the Val d'Isère 2009 Alpine World Ski Championships (teams, media, guests, organising committee...) to access the venues in which they will be working.
The accreditation is the participant's work permit which ensures that he is able to work in the best manner possible and with the minimum of constraints.

Thus, the accreditation gives the participants access to the areas for which they have access rights (mentioned on the accreditation). Access rights for these areas are related to the participant's assignments.
These access rights have been defined by the accreditation department along with the departments in charge of the various accredited groups.

Accreditation holders should respect the following regulations and « observance of rights »:
- The accreditation must be visible and worn at all times.
- The accreditation card is personal and not transferable.
- Each accredited person may only enter the area she/he has been appointed to.
- Each requester can only be accredited after approval by the Organising Committee.
- Each accredited person may only be active in the applied and appointed category.
- Each accreditation holder has to comply with the jury's instructions on the competition area.
- Video cameras may only be used for professional purposes and only by persons accredited to the official competition area.
- Approved equipment (TV and digital cameras) are labelled by a special sticker.

In case these regulations are disrespected, the Organising Committee is allowed to withdraw the accreditation for several days or the whole period of the Championships or to prohibit access to the official competition area.
